Happy Birthday Jason! Cool fucker, or just a good fooler?

06:11 Jul 24 2006
Times Read: 788

Here's to Jason's birthday today! Well, the 23rd, not the 24th. ;) I can't seem to get the birthday messages out soon enough to start a thread. haha....So I am adding on to them. As long as we are getting the message out about the birthdays, it's all good.

I haven't quite copy and pasted the exact same thing, but it may seem that way. I had 3 places to write, so be kind to me. :P Wait, 4. I also wrote him earlier today because I knew I wouldn't make it here soon enough. Time difference....

You know, it just so happens that I like squirrels too. I am a bigger fan of the hamster, though. The small ones...Oh, did you already guess that?

Anyway, I hope you had a wonderfully spiffy day, Jason. Happy birthday you cool fucker, you. =) haha.....I love you babe!

Happy Birthday Jason-sahn

Plum is good too!

Khay said Arizona peach and.....oh shit, what was that? Anyway she said they were good, and I am drinking Arizona Plum green tea right now and it is great. =) Smooth...I like it very cold.

Those that are rather high strung should try kava kava tea and valarian root. It is supposed to be natures valium. I was drinking quite a bit of it when I was looking for natural alternatives to Xanax.

I just can't seem to get away from the pc tonight, to go clean for when the exterminator comes tomorrow. We will be getting so little sleep tomorrow. Have to pull everything away from the walls....and I have EVERYTHING against the walls. Plus I need to pack an overnight and pack the baby (Tibbs), my camera, mp3, XM radio stuff....etc.....etc.....we may go to OKC too afterwards and back. Long day.....Mom may come over and go with us. She may camp out at our hotel room too and make a sleep over out of it. =)

I have been sifting through all my exercise articles and instructions that I tear out of magazines. I am afraid to move them, because they are on the floor, but I am. I plan on making one big notebook full of various exercises. Am I the only one here that does that? ;)

Oo, nifty portfolio bonus

08:40 Jul 21 2006
Times Read: 800

I am digging the change in the portfolio where we can see our ratings there. Sifting through and seeing 10s, a few 9s....a 5? pfft.....Then I thought, "Well, I do the pictures for myself too, to create, so what does it matter what you are rated?". Hmm....well it just does! haha...Victim of caring...

Personally, I would like to have that nifty.....oh I don't know what to call it, but remember when Cancer had that list of people that was on in the past 24 hours on the bottom of the online page? I liked that. Oh and I miss the offline friend list to scroll through. I now have to go look on my friend lists you are on section or find an old message, or look them up in profiles to write people. Did that just sound stupid? Eh, you peeps that have been here awhile will know what I mean. ha.....

Idle curiosity

09:20 Jul 20 2006
Times Read: 803

I was rereading my entry about the mexican guy that had his mariachi music playing in his truck, and how we ended up at the red light together, with my booming, bassy music playing at the same time, having a sort of dueling stereos. Amusing and uncomfortable at the same time, yet I was not about to turn mine down.

I have wondered before, why it is, that mexicans only have ONE type of music? That is all I ever hear is the sound of a mobile mexican restaurant driving round. Here, and in so many parts of the world, we have pop, hip hop, heavy metal, rock, easy listening, blues, electronica, love ballads, ambient, alternative......the list is endless.

What does that say? It would seem to me that one culture is quite a bit more creative than the other. That might also explain why we are one of the industrial leaders. ? Then again, maybe we just have more time on our hands now that we no longer pick our own fruit.

Dueling stereos

12:21 Jul 18 2006
Times Read: 815

I forgot to mention earlier about the duel we had with a mexican at a light.

We were cruising down the street, listening to one of my booming bass tracks. I love bass. LOVE IT....and along comes a mexican in a truck. He has his mariachi band playing on his stereo.

He ended up by us a few times and our stereo was clashing with his stereo, both loud. I like to FEEL the music. He then fell behind our car. But we both met up at the light. I saw it coming and was like, "Aw shit, man, here he comes.". So there we were, windows open, stereos blasting, especially ours, and sitting about 20 inches from each other, not looking over onnnnnne bit. hahaha....I found that pretty humorous. But at the time, it was rather uncomfortable with the two kinds of music playing at the same time, plus a tension of sorts, between the two cultures. But you don't want to get me started on the illegals situation. I have very strong views about that.

My Brown recluse HELL

08:30 Jul 18 2006
Times Read: 823

Ok, so you know I live in Oklahoma. It is in the Brown Recluse territory. While it is actually almost on the outskirts of the red zone, it is still this area. Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas and further East, are the hot zones, into Kentucky, Louisiana....all those areas.

Is there anyone out there that doesn't know about the Brown Recluse spider? They are scary fuckers, I will just say that. I am petrified of them. This is why: NECROSIS:

http://www.brown-recluse.com/bitephotos.html

Ok, now tell me to calm down. ?!

This is the info page to see if you have one or not, though hard to tell. There are many spiders that look like the Brown Recluse. But those don't take your limbs! Most anyway.

Linky! Click me!

That is just a link to give you a glimpse of one and some info. I enlarged the picture to get a closer look but I keep getting so upset, I have waves of chills run through me.

So, week before last, I went in the kitchen and turned the light on. Running very fast from the stove was a spider. I freaked out because I don't normally carry Raid around all the time, and it was moving SO FAST, I had to think fast. I looked around frantically for something to throw on it, and a small table was my choice. hahaha....I caught it before it disappeared under the shelves. Whew.......I didn't think too much about it after that. I asked Danny to get the spider out from under the table, but he forgot about it, and so it sat for about a week, until this morning, when I asked him yet again, to please get that spider!

First, let's go to last Saturday night. Danny and some friends went to Wichita, Kansas to go a all nude strip club. His friends couldn't believe I "let" him go and didn't give him shit about it.

Anyway, I went into the bathroom and saw a spider in the tub. I got the new Raid out and sprayed it. Ah new clove smell. "Organic" Raid? So I sprayed the fucker and this is the crazy part...it ran sideways, almost like it was dancing. I mean, it was running lightly on it's legs, sideways, almost as if it were running on air. Freaky shit.

It stopped and just sat there, not dead, not moving. The room was full of noxious, organic, clove scented fumes. So I just let loose with the spray. I don't know if I drowned it or if the spray actually killed it. But it was so strong in the house that night, I had to hold my breath just walking by the area, and certainly had to hold my breath to go to the bathroom all night.

It had occured to me that that spider was a Brown Recluse. We didn't have problems with them in the past, so I really didn't worry too much, but every Midwestern/Southerner worries about them coming to visit....and staying, bringing friends. *gulp*

After that bathtub incident, I poured myself into Brown Recluse information on the net, over the next few days. That is what I do when I am interested in something. I learn all I can on it. Or at least until I am really bored with it.

So today, when we lifted that lil table, I saw the markings and knew it was a Recluse. See, they have 6 eyes, not 8. Most spiders have 8 and they are grouped all together in the front, whereas, Brown Recluse have 3 sets of 2. I really didn't want to get that close and I was nervous, but it was really dead, so.....ha......I looked at it. Yep, the violin/cello marking.....yes, the 6 eyes....as far as I could tell. The dark bottom (see, it gets darker after it feeds. Otherwise it could be a lighter tan color).......and this is where I scream and cry, and want to move, because I am not safe in my home, my sanctuary, such as it is.

After we got back from Lowes, from getting an 8,000 btu air conditioner (It has been well over 100 and we are under heat advisories! It is miserable), I called an exterminator. I talked to him about it and he will be out Friday. Cha Ching, $100. We have to move as much as we can away from the walls, for him to spray. Ugh, what a mess that will be. #1, I don't want to move shit if there is a chance there are spiders in the stuff! #2, that's a lot of shit. haha....We have a small house of about 700 square feet with us 3, so it's a tight fit, and everything is compacted in like sardines. Yea, a Recluses dream? *weep*

He also wants to get in the attic space (we have no attic, really, just attic type space), and to do that, Danny will have to move a lot of boxes from the garage first. LOTS of boxes. He is not happy about that. He wanted me to help and I am like, "Uh spiders, hello?!". He called me a pussy. haha....we do that. He is one too, becaues he is afraid of scary stuff sometimes.

I will go in graveyards at night. I will go to haunted places. I will go to haunted morgues. But I will not hang out with spiders. Or snakes...hate snakes.

I was thinking of ordering one of those kits to heal the wound, if bitten.

I have been on high alert for days. It's exhausting. I scan the floor and ceiling in a room before entering. Been keeping a flashlight with me to look periodically under the covers. Many people get bit in bed. It is also said, that where there is one, there are more. They can live 8-12 months without food or water. They can still bite even if it's just their head. They prefer dead bugs most of the time, even if they have been sprayed. So if you try to bomb your house yourself, you could make it worse, because they won't die and come in and eat all those other bugs you just killed for them.

The exterminator said that the fact that the one was in the bathtub, is a sign that it's a Recluse. I wonder how it got in there though. It takes me back to about a month ago, when there was a big spider in the bathroom on the floor and I sprayed it and it just ran fast, behind the toilet. I freaked out because I can't stand the thought of those things running loose in the house. So I called Danny to come home from work to get the spider. He looked all through the tiny bathroom and found nothing. Great, it's gone. I wanted to cry. Hopefully, I thought, it went back to the bowels of Hell, from wence it came. There was a hole to the underneath side of the house I think it was, in the bathroom, so we filled it with that foamy shit today.

I am still paranoid though, being "exposed" in the bathroom and open to attack. ha....

I pound my feet on the floor upon arriving in a room, just a bit, or walk a bit heavier, so they will move and be seen.....or do I want that? I surely don't want any surprises. That's when the biting and screaming starts.

We got some of those sticky pad things, that you lay under the stove, cabinets, along the floorboards....to catch them. That is supposed to be quite effective if you actually have them.

I keep playing parts of Arachnophobia in my head!! That damned movie! They remind me of Recluse. Look like them...

I have talked to a professor at a college, that said I could send the dead one to him and he would tell me for sure. I would bet money that it is. Just in case, either way, I am still getting the place sprayed.

He has this attitude that is almost mocking, like I was really overreacting. I am thinking, though, that if he were to take a few Recluse to his house....let loose one or two in his bedroom, one or two in his kids rooms.....same in the kitchen and bathroom....he might just be alittle uneasy! Shit, he lives in California.

Danny found one at work tonight, running along the wall! He had caught it in a cup, still alive. He was sure to let me know. I was freaking.

I keep "seeing" them, and "feeling" them on me!

I want to move. I want to move where there are no dangerous creepy crawlys. No intense heat, no intense cold. No earthquakes, no tsunami.

Ok, I need to stop thinking and talking on it. My head hurts.

Ghost cat, global warming

07:43 Jul 18 2006
Times Read: 829

Reading Khay's journal reminded me of our cat dilemma as well, how we keep accumlating new ones for some reason. There is now a new one that is coming around, with a flea collar. It is real nice, and real friendly, brindle sorta colored. But, I am tired of these cats coming around and expecting food. Sure, I could simply stop feeding them but really, cannot. They depend on us, to a certain extent. So now we have another that may need "relocating".

GHOST CAT

Speaking of "relocating".....Danny was coming home the other night. He spied a black Persian cat, that looked exactly like the one he relocated about a week or week and a half before. It was about half a block down from our house. So he stopped the car and got out, walking to it. The cat brushed up against him a bit. He said it looked thin. He picked up the cat and it meowed, and pushed off from him, and ran a bit, stopped. So Danny came right home and we jumped back in the car to go find it. Nothing....no sign, no cat.....nothing, for at LEAST a 4 block radius. He believes it is a ghost cat. He felt guilty for taking it away from this place, even though it wasn't our cat to begin with, but we had to do something that night, because the evil meth bitch, Cruella DeVille next door was trapping the cats, and leaving them in the heat, no food or water, until she took them to be killed. We had to take the two favorites, the most tame, and take them away. Guilt is heavy on that one. Two remain....oh wait, 3 now. I figured since they were strays, they would be able to scrounge for food, or be fed here and there.

This town has a bad stray problem. Mainly cats. There are two males that come around here, that have been impregnating the females for YEARS! I keep hoping they will move along or pass away. I shoot the BB gun at them to scare them away. Don't worry, the BB gun scares them more than anything. It wouldn't break the skin even. Real weak one. But, it will make it to them and bop them in the ass, and make them run off.......for awhile. Actually, I love shooting guns, but I would never kill an animal. Ok, unless the end of the world was here. Duh....

GLOBAL WARMING

Speaking of end of the world, there was a great global warming special on Discovery last night. That shit is so scary, and it is happening. They have so much proof now. We can save our kids lives and grandkids by changing shit now. Turn off those extra lights, turn off the tv, other appliances when you aren't using them, get better fuel efficient cars....make "green buildings" (Brad Pitt is working on doing that in Louisiana!)--they have one in NYC, several other things, that I can't recall now. But we are losing a ton of land. The sea is swallowing it up......it was a 2 hour special. I don't want to hear how it's not happening. It is. There was 2 hours of proof last night, and it was scary. There was an island that is slowly disappearing. These people are living in several inches of water!

They even said that the temperature rising, though only a few degrees, is changing a lot of areas, and half of our earths animals could be extinct in 100 years. More intense storms, more droughts, more flooding, all of this shit is a side effect of global warming. There is so much carbon dioxide around and it is ruining, and changing the environment, our lives.

I didn't know that the construction of buildings is one of the worst for emitting CO2.

Of course, the rainforests save our asses and what is man doing? Chopping the shit down. Ugh, I can't stand that.

I think it's funny when people come on here and misspell the name they are going to go by. For instance, demonformhell. I am not sure if that is the exact one I had in mind, but you get the drift. I see lots of those around and get a good snicker out of it. I mean, you know they were sitting there, tapping their finger on their lips thinking intensely on the most evil name they can summon. They get it wrong and either don't notice, or see it and are like, "aW, FuK iT, tHey wOnT nOtiCe". ;)

Someone asked me how my summer was going. My summer is going great, thanks! I am digging the warmth, though, it is really hot and humid and makes me sick. But at least it's not cold. The mosquitoes are really bad too. I have several bites that are driving me crazy.

There are things around the house that I really need to tend to, but just don't like to in the summer...painting around the house, that I started in winter. I need to finish, but like to do that in the winter to keep my mind sane. Now I have unfinished painting! pfft....I really need to do some painting. Naughty me has a suitcase still out with hanging clothes from when I was at mom's. I just can't get the motivation to put the stuff up. Instead I log on here. Bad influence is Rave. ;)

Course I went to a lot of trouble making the supper while they were doing that. But before I went inside, my anal retentive ass placed each tree, exactly where I wanted it to be. I hope the roots don't interfere with the gas and water lines nearby. =

And while all of this was happening, it was storming on and off. The clouds were beautiful. Huge, fluffy and sometimes ominous. I went out and took pics inbetween rain showers. Will place some in my port, along with the new baby Tibbs pictures. I have had some requests to see her. Tibbs the 4th.

Arg Matey, Johnny Depp is so hot

09:25 Jul 10 2006
Times Read: 910

I know that is so high school hormonal, but he just gets me going. Oh lordy, I can't even watch him sometimes. He is a Gemini like myself, and born near my birthday in 2nd Decant, so he is a lot like me. Weird and hermit like. HA....Anyway....

It was a busy weekend. Friday, went to OKC to see my brother and lovely friend Neil. Actually, brother Justin lives in Norman. So there was much driving to be done. While waiting on Pirates of the Caribbean to start at 12:30am, we walked around Bricktown, where there is a riverwalk there, with many bars and clubs, lots of people to watch. I sortof wanted to take the river ride around the square, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to sit there with all those people. Well, I knew I didn't. There were horse rides too, another that I would love to try. Next time perhaps.

The movie was great. We went in at 12:30am and it was over at 3:10am. But I had a wonderful time watching Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom for almost 3 hours. Was there a movie? I thought it was just them walking around the screen for me, for a few hours.

Didn't get home til after 6am, got to bed by 8:30am......slept til 5pm, got up and around, and left for the lake, to meet up with friends that had gone camping. We ate some steak, and they got the Pontoon ready to go out on the water! I had never gone for a ride in a Pontoon before. I was excited and somewhat anxious as well. I took half a pre-Xanax just in case. I am afraid of deep and dark water, though I am drawn to water in any form.

I was sitting in the boat, as they lowered it into the water slowly. It was a bit unnerving, but really, it was nice. I had my camera and XM radio with me, so that was a concern, but everything was fine.

I get motion sickness very easily, so that was another BIG concern of mine. I can't look down in the car, I can't ride in the back, I can't watch home movies where the camera is moving everywhere. But we were moving practically the whole time and it was wonderful! I loved it!

We had stopped at McDonalds for a small snack before we left, and I had gotten a kids hankerchief with Pirates of the Caribbean skull and crossbones on the front of it, so I was wearing it the whole time. ha...

As long as we kept moving, I was fine and it was great. The wind was blowing, the moon was reflecting off the water....and I just closed my eyes and took it all in.

We did stop briefly as John put more gas in the tank. We were almost out, and for a brief few minutes, I was concerned about being stuck out there, and the waves were tossing us around a bit, so I was just on edge, waiting for nausea to hit me. Luckily we had enough gas and was on our way. Whew...back to nirvana. ha....in fact, it wasn't long enough. I wanted more.

On the way home we stopped off at two cemeteries and did a bit of ghost hunting. The mosquitos were HUGE at one of them! I mean HUGE!!! I kept hearing big bugs by my head and all around me, and I am sure that from a distance, it would be funny to see my flashlight waving wildly in the dark. It was me, trying to swat at the mosquitos. I ran to the car. ha...One followed in and was smacked and it was big and black and "meaty". Ew.....I am wondering what mosquitos are doing in a graveyard?

Just watched Lost Boys and Quills is on. I am missing it though, coming here.

Watched Superman the other night. It's ok. Needs more action.

He is French. I love France. I want to learn to speak it. Does knowing "Vous Merde!" count as knowing it? ;)

I love the old-ness about it. Also Johnny Depp is there.

How many more years do I have of adoration from men? It's not all I have to offer, obviously, but being a woman, one wonders. It makes me catch my breath and a wave of panic comes over me. As you see, it's not merely adoration, it's my mortality.....that is the real issue here.

On the www.whatthebleep.com site, I read an article about a chick that had the good fortune to travel to beautiful Bali, where the Quest for Global Healing Conference was held. It was a nicely orchestrated conference held in a magical place. The main message she got from the conference was a simple one: Get your butts up and do something about the world if you don’t like what you see. You CAN make a difference, and you don’t have to be a superhero, a millionaire, or a genius to do it.

We all have an obligation to ourselves and humanity and the world to take action towards peace. For some, this could mean doing major tasks that affect huge amounts of people. For others, simply changing their mind’s focus and redirecting their energy could be just as important. Just like we learned in the film, What the Bleep Do We Know!?, our focus has such a real impact in our lives. We know this and we understand it - but do we really put it into practice everyday?

An explaination of my dislike of psi vamps

Mordire sent:

From my profile Mordire copied: "I have found, that a lot of what I know, comes from a simple inner knowing. I believe that I subconsciously receive this information via other realms, channeled information, or basically, that I am operating on a completely different level than most. It's hard to explain, and hard for some to understand. I think that much of our information that seems to just "come to us", is from the other side, being from our guides that are with us for our entire life. Some call them angels, some call them guides. Whatever you call them, I believe they are there, always.

you are so right. and if i may ask please what is it that you dont like about psy vamps? my sister was a psy vamp so i was just curious. my current master, she is a psy vamp."

My response:

Hello there! I am in stealth mode at the moment, as I was just about to leave to go eat. I received your message and decided to quickly respond. ;)

"and if i may ask please what is it that you dont like about psy vamps?"

I do not like these people and stay as far as possible away from them, because they make me physically ill. They take and take and take energy away, by incessantly talking, or creating drama and pulling me into it or demanding all my attention, and all of that takes my precious energy. ;) I do not suffer fools gladly.

I used to let people come over and hang out, entertain them, let them use my resources, but that all takes energy, and zaps me. So I no longer really have people over......nor do I talk on the phone. People seem to love to call and expect me to do the talking, or go on and on about themselves.....and me, the captive audience. They leave the convo feeling happy, refreshed and energized, whereas I feel sick to my stomach, no energy and like shit....negative.

So, I stay away from most people. I am very sensitive, so I can feel it right off, about people......when I start to get drained, I pull back and disappear, especially on here. I pick up on people's energy quickly, even subliminally, so I have to watch out, and check how I feel. I do like the energy of people that are laid back and don't give off too much energy or take. Too much is bad too! haha...It overwhelms me.

If a convo is a give and take, I am cool with it......if I am in the mood to chat. If not, it just zaps the shit right out of me. ;) haha......

Hope that explains it fully. I figure it does.

The Ball....he's got big balls, she's got big balls....

I had thought about going to the ball this October. But damn, it's so expensive to even get in. *sigh* I dunno. To even get there, would be a 15 hour drive. Gas, lodging....getting in...food....Icees.

I say, we all meet at The Crescent Hotel, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It's haunted and in October, on the weekends, they have a package special for $200. At least they did last year. It was cool.

The curtains now match the rug

I dyed my hair back to it's original color....basically. I matched it as closely as possible. Actually it is a sort of dye that is supposed to adjust itself or something like that, that matches your true color. Since my hair had grown out a few inches on top, I was able to blend it in quite nicely. But DAMN, my hair is much darker than I remembered. Ha...I think I look at least 5 years younger now....if you don't look too closely at my laugh lines.

I have also been wearing colored contacts on and off the past 2 weeks. I had visited my eye doctor and he gave me some freebies to try out. Those contacts are harder than they look to put in and take out! So I have been wearing the green ones. Nice. I like them! Danny said they remind him of Brad Pitt's eyes when he changed in Interview. I am sure you all know what I am talking about. haha.....Anyway Danny keeps staring at them when I am speaking to him. I'm like, "What?!". Ha...

Back home

Back home. Thanks for your well wishes and asking about mom. As some of you know, she could not do the biopsy because they deemed it unsafe, because of all that is around that kidney, and taking a piece of a main artery would not have ended well. Why they didn't call her and tell her before she came to get me, I don't know. It was a nice visit regardless and I will go back again to hang out and keep her company sometime soon.

So whatever it is, has to stay put for now, and sort of watch it. See, one of her kidneys doesn't work much, and of course this "spot" is on the good one. Obviously they can't remove it, and it seems that the spot is in the middle of it and would have to come out.

I suggested they go ahead and do a specific test to see at what level her kidneys are functioning. They will be calling her about that late this week. I can't remember what it is. But I figured if they did it now, they could compare the functioning level later and make sure it's all good. The doctor had mentioned the test but didn't order it to be done until we talked about it being a good idea. Thought that was sorta weird. But, he is the best, we are told. He was real nice. =)

In the meantime, she also needs to go have a CA125 test to test the tumor on her ovary, that she has had for a long time and was the original reason she was having an ultrasound, when they found the kidney spot.

So...we wait.

Love, Jamie
